Gexting

Giggle Texting. The text message exchange taking place primarily during the flirting stage in a relationship. Principally meant to make the recipient giggle. Usually occurs before "sexting."

Charles: "So are things getting serious between you and that Jezebel?"

Eric: "No, we're just gexting for now. But I foresee a sext in the near future."

Charles: "Not bad, not bad at all."

excessive texting at the expense of others who often are left to stand around awkwardly waiting for the person to finish their "gexting"

Texting with animated gifs when words can't encompass what you really want to say. You send the appropriate animated gif that says it all.

-I texted the wrong number and got the most hilarious gext back!
