Bataken was a common practice in old Japan by the Japanese royalty.

Batayeh 

An absolute tool, someone with a jeckyl and hyde type personality. Someone who is incredibly (unjustly) arrogant.

Wow, that drummer is not nearly as good as he thinks he is. What a total Batayeh.
