The Delta Chi Fraternity 

Delta Chi (ΔΧ) (del-ta kai) or D-Chi is an International secret letter College Social Fraternity formed on October 13, 1890, at Cornell University by 11 members and was initially established as an professional Fraternity for law students. Delta Chi is a member of North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). The Fraternity is headquartered at 314 Church Street in Iowa City, Iowa.

Sir Edward Coke

The spiritual founder of the Fraternity is Sir Edward Coke (pronounced "cook"). His idealism is best exemplified with one of his most famous quotes: "The King should be under no man, but under God and the Law."
