zeitgeisted

Caught by the spirit of the times (from the German term Zeitgeist). The typical experience of being zeitgeisted is the realization or epiphany that some personal characteristic, predilection, or experience believed to be special to you is in fact common out there in the Zeitgeist. You believed it to be uniquely yours, but in fact you were probably interested in it for the same reasons that dozens or thousands of others are as well. Your pursuit of originality was futile! Now you have just been reminded of that fact.
“A week after he launched his new website on (some obscure subject), G. was zeitgeisted by Wired Magazine publishing a feature on the exact same subject.”

zeitgeisted

The condition of having had some special unique interest or proclivity, and then discovering that it has just been featured in media or elsewhere; the ensuing realization that in fact your interest was not unique, but in fact others just like you were pursuing it as well; the revelation that the interest you thought was unique was merely a reflection of the spirit of the time.
"Did you hear that Garrett got zeitgeisted again? He just launched that blog about vintage (somethings) a month ago, and there was a pictorial about the exact same thing in the new Wired Magazine!"

"Poor guy."

Zeitgeist

Spirit of the age - Zeit is German for time - Geist is German for Spirit.
For example the Zeitgeist in the 70s was love everyone (man). 50s post war euphoria... etc

E-Zeitgeist

E-Zeitgeist is an expression that literally means “electronic zeitgeist”. The term zeitgeist refers to the intellectual, cultural, ethical and political climate, ambiance and morals of an era. While the “E” in e-zeitgeist stands for electronic it is more commonly used in this context to describe the trends which persist virtually (i.e. on the internet). Therefore, e-zeitgeist refers to the ethos of the electronic generation, their socio-cultural progression and the expression of a particular world view. Those born between roughly 1975 and 1985 are usually considered the first generation to seriously use and influence the e-zeitgeist.
Before going in an internet chat room it would be helpful to know the conventions that exist in the e-zeitgeist.

zeitgeist

A very good movie that every american should watch immediately. It's about everything that is wrong with america and religion and tells how corrupt the government is and tells you there lies and there plans for the upcoming future. And you can watch it at youtube or google videos.
