Durrani 

Durrani (Pashto: دراني‎) or Abdali (Pashto: ابدالی‎) is the name of a pakhtuns tribe.

The Durranis have been prominent leaders, as the royal family of Afghanistan is derived from this tribe, and a substantial number of Durrani Pashtuns are bureaucrats and public officials, as well as businessmen, wealthy merchants and hold high ranks in the military.

Today they are known to be highly succesful and nice entrepreneurs. They're very good looking men and women that make excellent socialists, judges, doctors, lawyers and especially spouses and beaus. They are amazing people. They ate truly the best group of people in the Pashtun, Sindhi and other era. Love them fully.

Person 1: who's that guy?

Person 2: the rich dude there? He's hot, right?

Person 1: yeah who is he?

Person 2: he's a Durrani.

The name for the fan base of the British hotness that is Duran Duran. Duranies will do anything for the band. Duranies can be any age. Duranies range from Rabid fangirls to slight fans.

Cassey: So, did you meet that british hotness that is Duran Duran?
Caroline: HELL. YES.

Jacob: Ugh, all that traffic made me late!
Jimmy: I heard Duran Duran was in town. All the rabid Duranies caused trafic jams.

Durran is a person who misunderstood. They are strong-minded people with goals and plans. They never really stray away from their life plan's People tend to feel that Durrans are cocky and stuck up people. When actually they can be one of the coolest and loyalest people you'll meet. Durrans are extremely intelligent , and tend some are really handsome. They never really like drama and tend to stray away from people who do. They are very closed people. Though they don't always seem like the ideal friend they will make your life more interesting.

Durran is so smart, I should ask him to tutor me.

Collective noun for a group of middle-aged women obsessed with the band Duran Duran.

Contrary to popular belief, there are only around 1,000 Duranies, who travel around the world to each and every show that the band play. If ever you wonder why a Duran Duran gig in your area sold out so quickly, it is because The Duranies got there first. Duranies remortgage houses, divorce their partners and abandon their children to fund this extravagent obsession.

Duranies happily pay up to $500 a show for a simple lottery to say hello to the band members.

Duranies travel in packs, usually in groups of 5, although group size varies from 3 up to 17. Dress size does not vary much, averaging around 26. Although they act like cougars, they have no interest in a man unless he can get them in to meet the band.

Sarah: wtf? All the hotels are booked in Pomona for my business trip.

Sammy: Ah yeah. There's a Duran Duran show on. The Duranies are coming to town.
