Sycophancy 

Sycophancy is self-serving or servile flattery. It probably derives from the Latin sȳcophantia, meaning trickery, and consists of the fawning behaviour of useless two-faced self-seeking toe rag who attempts to win favour by flattering and pandering to the boss.
