Bryced (verb)
To be emotionally sidelined when your partner chooses novelty, ego‑freedom, or external validation over you—especially on a day meant to affirm commitment.

It describes the moment you realize you weren’t the priority, just the placeholder.

---Derived from the modern relational archetype Bryce, whose partner bypassed him on Valentine’s Day for someone representing sexual freedom and non‑attachment.

The event became shorthand for a specific emotional displacement:

the moment a partner’s true priorities become undeniable.
“He Bryced me on Valentine’s Day and went off with someone who made him feel ‘free.
