The things Hispanic children are called every single day.
I just means adopted in Spanish

adoptado: (masculine term)
adoptada: (feminine term)
I don't know what the gender neutral term is. It's Spanish

Parent: "Tu no eres mi hijo/hija, eres adoptado/adoptada." ((You aren't my son/daughter, you're adopted.
