Bitterness

A feeling of deep anger and resentment. Bitterness is an emotion which encompasses both anger and hate, often people who are bitter appear to the world as just going around pissed off at everyone and everything. However bitterness is often a result of some past event which has hurt, scarred and jaded the person.
Mary let her bitterness she felt towards her family consume her.

yankee

The word is a derogatory term used to describe Americans by the Brits, Canadians, Australians and the like; but in the USA used to define an American from the Northern States in the USA, such as New England and the Mid-West.

It was most notably used to describe to the Federal Solders and other Northerners by the Confederates during the Civil War Era. Even though some foreigner’s refer to all American’s as Yankees, does not make it so. Call a Southerner a Yankee and he’ll think you’re either just plain dumb or that you are trying to pick a fight.

The characteristics often associated with a stereotypical Yankee are shrewdness, thrift, craftiness, rudeness, arrogance, and loudness.
To foreigners, a Yankee is an American.
To Americans, a Yankee is a Northerner.
To Easterners, a Yankee is a New Englander.
To New Englanders, a Yankee is a Vermonter.
And in Vermont, a Yankee is somebody who eats pie for breakfast

Name

A name is a label used to identify a person, place, or thing. It can be given to you by someone else or one you've chosen for yourself.

In the case of people, your name is one of the most important things your have both in terms of reputation and how you feel about yourself. Having a name you loathe can have very negative effects on your self-esteem, health, and success in this world; and likewise having a name you love has positive effects. If you are going though life with a name you can’t stand, you should change it to something you like. The bottom line is, it’s your name and you have to live with it, other people don’t.

Shame

1. A painful emotion caused by a sense of guilt, embarrassment, dishonor; a feeling of being unworthy or disgraced.

2. Something that is very regrettable or is a great disappointment.
1. Sean felt a sense of shame when he woke up and read the newspaper only to see a picture of himself in it. He shamed his family name.

2. It is a shame that such a horrible thing happen to such a sweet girl as Molly.

Hell

1. A place or state of being of pain and suffering, sometimes also called Earth.

2. A afterlife believed in by Christians to be the place were Non-Christians souls go after death to suffer eternally for not worshiping their god; regardless of whether one leads a virtuous life and is a good person. They tend to go into a great deal more detail about Hell then Heaven in their literature. Hell is often pictured as being populated by lost souls, demons and fallen angels, chief of which is Satan. Hell is often seen by Christians as a place of torment and fiery pits of wailing sinners isolated from their god’s love.

(The word is taken from the Norse Goddess Hel even though it has nothing to do with the Christian version of Hell.)

3. Hell is also a mild cuss word.
