A solo on any instrument in a piece of music—whether it be in the background or the foreground—that is mindblowingly fabulous. Most frequently used as a descriptor for guitar solos.
Kellindo's solo at 2:43 in Mushrooms & Roses by Janelle Monáe is such a facemelter, man. I listened to that song on a loop while tripping sack last night.

To me, rawdogging life does not necessarily refer to a sober lifestyle. It's more of a general sense of being unhinged and stepping fearlessly into situations in which analysis will only occur retroactively. For example, leaving one's house without taking their meds first. Another example would be being hungover on the job without having had anything to eat the entire morning!
I'm rawdogging life this morning because fuck it, this week had nothing in store for me anyway!

You guys are so silly saying that stupid whore is limited by gender. It isn't. I'm a stupid whore and I'm a man. Basically being a stupid whore is a state of mind. Stupid whores are those who frequently make mistakes, are impulsive, and tend to be whorish. So yeah, me.
James is such a stupid whore. He blew three guys last night and then spent all of his paycheck at a diner.

Kate Bush's most well-known and widely acclaimed album. Released in September 1985, this opus of progressive pop music has influenced thousands, and is known as one of the greatest albums not only of the 80s, but of all time. Singles from side A such as "Running Up That Hill" and "Cloudbusting" are art pop songs with stadium-sized hooks, impressive vocal runs and heart-melting lyrics. Side B is a progressive rock suite that tells the story of a woman lost at sea at night reflecting upon her life and her family. It is an existential beast of a record, full of introspection and emotion usually too difficult to put into words. Bush executes it brilliantly and with utmost grace, and in the process becomes a rock legend.
Jake: hey have you ever listened to Hounds of Love?

An absolutely brilliant British art rock and progressive-pop singer/songwriter/pianist. She was initially known for her 1978 debut single "Wuthering Heights," which hit #1 in the UK charts when she was only 19. As the years have gone by, she has released ten studio albums which all contain fantastic songwriting and her trademark dramatic soprano vocals. Seriously, she can belt, play and arrange like no other. She's also absolutely gorgeous, and comes from a highly intelligent and artistic family.
1982's "The Dreaming" and 1985's "Hounds of Love" are her most well-known masterpieces, but 2005's "Aerial" is just as extraordinary. If you're a new listener, check out her songs "Running Up That Hill" and "Army Dreamers" to get a sense of her idiosyncratic musical style. Don't worry if her unique vocal style doesn't appeal to you at first, it takes some warming up to for many new listeners!
It should be noted that Bush was also a child prodigy, who wrote approximately 200 songs before she released her debut album. Pink Floyd's legendary David Gilmour gave Bush's career the kickstart it needed, helping to produce a 3-track demo when she was just 16. Bush has been known as an influence and inspiration to many alternative acts since the mid-80s, and her influence is only growing greater by the year. Kate Bush is a true musical genius, who deserves all the acclaim she gets and more.
Evan: I wish Kate Bush would tour again, but unfortunately she wouldn't even come to the U.S. because of her fear of flying
Eric: well hey at least we still have her incredible music
Evan: yeah you're right, we're lucky to be alive at the same time as a musical mastermind like her
