A combination of Fantastic and Optimistic. It is in the hopes that the outcome is better than good.

It would be fantoptimistic for Missy to stay on if we have the extra headcount.

susimistic

Suspicious but yet somewhat optimistic. Tread with suspicion but with a tinge of hope that whatever bad is happening is not true.

Amanda and Susan are susimistic that the conference rooms booked on Friday are not reserved to lay people off.
