A certain playstyle of shooter (or other competitive) games in which a player uses nothing but a close-range weapon, usually a shotgun. Instead of using good positioning and a balanced loadout enabling them to fight at medium range, they get the highest possible mobility and defense that they can and run straight towards the enemy with their shotgun or close-range weapon.
Most players enjoy it for the close-quarters one-hit playstyle and the ability to strike fear into players who are not equipped to deal with them.

They were originally part of Microsoft but the left to join Activision, but then left Activision to work on their own.
The company has seen great success with it’s leading game, Destiny 2. However, the company is becoming increasingly greedy and is listening to the playerbase less and less, slowly ruining the game.
