The term ‘band kid’ means someone that basically lives and breathes a certain selection of memes. These types of ‘memes’ are usually deep fried, t-pose, bruh, 🅱️, thicc, Soviet Russia, roblox oof sound, 🅱️eter griffin, big chungus, Alexa play despacito, liek if u cride, etc. ‘Band kids’ stereotypically like beating it to Pokimane, watching Call me Carson, playing Minecraft, listening to monstercat, watching Reddit text-to-speech videos, PewDiePie, and a bunch of other weird shit. I hope that explained it.

The only EDM genre where all tracks sounds exactly the same. Complextro features simple shitty dubstep bass house drops, copied build-ups and chipmunk vocals unrelated to anything
How to make Complextro:
1. Take a dubstep drop loop and shorten it to 128 BPM.
2. Add high pitched vocals so it sounds like you're listening to something from Alvin and the chipmunks
3. Make a buildup with uplifter samples you can found in any pirated vengeance sample pack.
4. For the drop take the dubstep drop loop you shortened and add a House drum loop to it so it sounds like a House-Dubstep mess
5. In order to be called 'creative' add some chiptune at the beginning
6. ???
7. Submit the track to monstercat
8. Get tons of edgy "animators" to make animation memes of your shitty song
9. Profit
After the success of Complextro on monstercat, It became one of those most over saturated genres since 2014
