Internet Schizophrenia is a term used to describe people online who exhibit strange and concerning behavior that is similar to a person with Schizophrenia. It is not a real medical condition, rather a label. Internet Schizophrenic people may actually be schizophrenic in real life. Internet Schizophrenia is defined by "unraveling ones mind via the internet". Example: Someone consuming so much disturbing media or existental media online that it mentally changes the way they think, for better or worse.

Web Schizo is a term used to describe someone online who tends to post things that are thought of as weird or sometimes borderline concerning. Some internet personas have accepted it as a label of a person who engages in "schizo-posting" and call themselves Web Schizos. People who call themselves are often actually schizophrenic. It is related to the idea of Internet Schizophrenia. The term has roots in the image board site 4chan.
