A car designed by a guy who has won some very prestigous European races and was good enough for the likes of such people as Buggati and Ferdinand Porsche. Zora Arkus-Duntov.
The 'Vette has won LeMans a few good times over the years. The 'Vette ZL-1 is also one of the fastest cars ever made. The '06 Z/06 will be one of the best handling cars in the world. Plus, it will cost 1/5th that of a base model Ferrari. Now, I only make $80k a year, so it is much more in my price range. I could get a marginally-better performing Ferrari, Porsche, or Lambo if I won the lottery, seeing as the cost 225k, but I doubt that'll happen so I'll stick with a tried & true sports car classic that pulls 0.97g on the skid pad stock and gets to 60 in the low 4-second range.

450hp Megacube V8 found mainly in older Chevelles, Corvettes, and even some El Camino's. Good for speed and acceleration, not necesssarily handling. That's right, you Euro geeks with your Porsche can **** off and die. Unless you can respect our cars, we won't bail you out of WWIII! Deal? Anyway, blah blah blah, the LS6 is a great old muscle car engine and is famous throughout the world, etc.
My '70 Chevelee SS454 was just barely beaten by my buddy's '70 Hemi 'cuda. He made it to the finish line .2 seconds before me. Of course, his car weighs less.

To quote Bill Haley, who prety much invented rock, it is volatile mix of country and pop. At least, originally it was. It has its roots with black R&B dudes and folk singer type guys. Then white people started mixing it with country & pop (see above), and it started to become rock 'n' roll. Starting in the mid '50s, people such as Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presely, and others created a whole new genre. In teh early '60s, surf bands like the Beach Boys and others started chaning it a bit. y the late '60s, it started to lose sight of its purpose. Hippies started transforming it from realtively short and fast songs into long, slow, boring songs about God-knows-what. By the '70s, bands like the Ramones starting to bring it back to its roots, only with a harder edge. Around this time, metal was created. Metal is hardly rock. Then it got pop-ified in the '80s, then it transformed into a bland, repetitive, boring commerical music in the '90s, finally being pashed out of mainstream society by metalheads and ganster rap people.
1. Lou Reed is a great writer. His song, Rock 'n' Roll, is a great song.
2. The Ramones saved rock.

The east coast girls are hip- I really dig those styles they wear. The southern girls with the way they talk- they knock me out when I'm down their. The midwest farmer's daughter's really make you feel alright. And the northern girls, with the way they kiss- they make they're boyfriend's feel alright.

I been all around this great big world
And I seen all kinds of girls
Yeah, but I couldn’t wait to get back in the states
Back to the cutest girls in the world
I wish they all could be California girls...
