Rossing

(noun) The experience of observing and commenting upon the dryness of another person's elbows, typically followed by a recommendation to apply some form of skin moisturizer to the affected area(s); this post-rossing skin treatment has also come to be colloquially referred to as "rossing." The term is thought to have originated in the arid, climate-controlled office spaces of the American intermountain west.
