Manhua (simplified Chinese: 漫画; traditional Chinese: 漫畫; pinyin: mànhuà; lit. 'impromptu sketches') are Chinese comics produced in China and in the Greater China region. Whilst Chinese comics and narrated illustrations having existed in China in some shape or form throughout its imperial history, the term manhua first appeared in 1904 in a comic titled 'Current Affairs Comics' or shíshì mànhuà (时事漫画) in the Shanghai-based newspaper, Jingzhong Daily (警钟日报).

Manhua may also refer to comics with a manhua / donghua styled-art or comics with a Chinese translation

Cdrama's, more popularly known as C-dramas, are television series in the Chinese language, made in China. Chinese dramas are popular worldwide, partially due to the spread of Chinese popular culture (the "Chinese Wave"), and their widespread availability via streaming services which often offer subtitles in multiple languages. Many Cdrama's have been adapted throughout the world, and some have had great impact on other countries.

A negative term directed to anyone of non-Chinese descent who displays overly obsessive behavior towards China and anything Chinese. Most sinoboo's are uneducated about their obsession and attempt to impress other's with their knowledge on the Chinese world or it's media. Some even go to the extent of claiming that they have Chinese blood or wear Chinese traditional clothing in the hopes that it'll make them "look the part." Sinoboo's also tend to misuse common Chinese words such as "ke ai" (cute) "gege" (brother) and "shuai" (cool) by using them too much or using them in random sentences. Sinoboo's may also be referred to as Chinaboo's and not to be confused with Sinophile's- people who genuinely admire China and it's culture.

An easy way to spot sinoboo's is to mention certain types of cmedia they like which are most likely cpop, cdrama, donghua, cnovel, or manhua. Although some are obsessed with Chinese gaming. Another step to identifying a sinoboo is noticing whether or not they have an odd fixation on the Chinese language or anything Chinese (including people) and start getting Chinese usernames/names without the help of an actual Chinese person.
"My best friend just told me she prefer's Cpop over regular pop music because she thinks Chinese sounds sexy... "
"Damn she sounds like a total Sinoboo."
"She is. She even refuses to date any non-Chinese men. She thinks they all look like Weibo stars"
