mojyo

Romanization of 喪女, a Japanese word that means "unpopular girl". It is a shortening of モテない 女 (motenai jo) with the same meaning.
Popularized by the 2013 anime WataMote which chronicles the sad daily life of a mojyo named Tomoko Kuroki.

If you are a girl with no friends, are still a virgin, and never has been asked out... then you are a certified mojyo.
