Doctrine based on Ned Flanders' ideas, very similar to political correctness, where an individual or a collective tries to impose his own self-censorship and ideals on the rest of society. This is especially visible in the case of certain lobbies like those of the homosexuals, feminists, pro-life activists, anti-racism organizations, and certain charities.
A recent example of flanderism is the supression of all terms considered offensive or homophobic by Gay Gollective, from Google Translator.
