A term used in software development to describe an unsuccessful refactor project.
Describes the outcome of a change that was intended to improve the underlying software but has actually made it worse.

This word is often used as an antonym for refactor.
The team have just spent 2 weeks on a refactoring project for the Scholarships functionality in AMS and now it no longer works. We must schedule another project to remedy this latest refucktor.
