In search engine jargon, a nickword or "niqueword" is the opposite of a keyword or keyphrase. It steals or nicks the meaning or in French fucks it up. It can be a word that you add to a search query or a word or concept that pops up in every result and totally obscures what you are looking for. Even when you put a minus sign in front of the word in your search terms it still can appear. Annoying and or confusing and often presented on purpose! One cod example is when you search Plasma (looking for scientific information on the fourth state of matter) and all you see in the results are plasma televisions. Television is the nickword.

A harryvolley or harrivolley does not refer to the name Harry but to the verb to harry. someone combined with to volley in tennis which refers to sharp exchanges. It is very similar to a filibuster. When a controversial topic is being debated on a forum or thread to distract or hide pertinent comments or really block any comprehension of what is going on by putting so many comments between exchanges that the targeted remarks get lost in past posts. A harryvolleier will post and post ridiculous, spurious remarks often accompanied or consisting of ad hominin attacks like "any idiot can see you are lying sack of... "basically so that others will attack him and detour the conversation away from meaningful discussion.
I can't use the Science Debates Forum anymore, every time I bring up mRNA vaccines or Global Warming harryvolleys break out and my ideas are lost in the chaos. What is wrong with Dr.Seuss? He used to give learned and wise answers now he just harryvolleys all day long.
