Covard

Pretty similar to cupboard or pantry, A covard vaguely is any shelf that holds food or supplies in it. For some reason I've only ever seen this word used in Alberta and Manitoba, nowhere else. Best guess is someone misheard cup-board as covard, and continued to use it.
