A Jamaican steambath is when one or a group of individuals smoke weed within a confined space that contains a substantial amount of moisture such as in a sauna or a closed washroom with the shower on hot. Note that the Jamaican steambath is a variant of the hot box, wherein the difference is the moisture of the surrounding space reminiscent of the climate in Jamaica.
The origin of this word does not come from Jamaica, rather it was developed in Willowdale, a semi-affluent suburb of the Greater Toronto Area. A group of individuals attending Earl Haig Secondary between 1998-2003 takes credit.
Andrew Jun has a sauna in his basement. He takes a Jamaican steambath every night before sleep.
It's when you are up all night on call, completely dehydrated, and your breath is foul as shit. And as you handover to the morning team, flecks of tartar just spray out but you don't care because you're post-call.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I just mouth-farted on your face because I have post-call breath."
An individual who suffers from a condition called strabismus exotropia. Its the opposite of being cross-eyed where one eye looks at you while the other is looking way off to the side.
etymology: the cover of Brave New World that was used in my english class has on it a big picture of a face w/ this condition and under it in bold is written HUXLEY. At the time we didn't know that the author Aldoux Huxley had strabisums exotropia and the picture was likely that of him.
That guy at the back of english class is a huxley.
Which eye do you look at when you talk to a huxley?
