An informal name given to British tourists who visit the continent of Australasia for more than a three-week span. It is most regularly used by western Australians, and is believed to originate in Perth who changed a letter in the word “Antipodean” which means to be on the other side of the world.
those Antipedians usually hit up Australia after University to see the sights.
