The person whose mental image you conjure in your mind while making out with someone, with the intention of improving the relative attractiveness of the person you're actually making out with. The mental make-out decoy can be achieved via real or perceived resemblance, or by virtue of pure imagination.
SV: We were sitting on the couch, and I was thinking, 'Huh, from the profile view he kinda looks like Keating', and I was able to trick myself into making out with him under that pretense, but then he turned and faced me, and the spell was broken and I bailed.

BPC: haha

SV: Keating makes a pretty damn effective mental make-out decoy, and he doesn't even know it.

BPC: Someone should tell him!
