A course commonly taken in college by math, engineering and various other majors. It is a field of mathematics created for the sole reason of torturing anyone who thought calculus was easy. In many cases attending lectures in this class will cause mild to severe brain trauma depending on the competency of the lecturer and the student.
Joe: "So are you taking any math this semester?"

Laura: "Yeah, I'm in differential equations."

Joe: "Yeah...Mike took that last semester."

Mike: "Uggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhh."

Joe: "Aww how nice, I think he was wishing you good luck."

The act of using ones voice to produce musical sounds, often with the use of words.

Men in particular who can sing well, or even moderately well, gain an immense advantage over their peers as the ability to sing is by far the single most sexually attractive quality to a woman. In fact it is not uncommon for a male singer to have hundreds beautiful females vying for his affections within seconds of breaking into song.

Also, if accompanied by any form of rhythmic movement or dancing this effect can be multiplied tenfold.
Guy: (singing) "When the moon hits your eye..."

Girl 1: "Ahhhhh! Do me!"

Girl 2: *faint*

In what is internally referred to as "The Business" (ie. any of the multitude of direct sales offices that sprung out of DS-Max, Cydcor, Granton, Smartcircle, Credico etc.), this is a term referring to hitting ones sales goal of selling enough to earn $100 personal profit for the day. This can equate to a certain number of sales dependent upon the campaign. For example, if one earns $50 commission per sale and then "ringing the bell" entails closing two sales.

This is not only an idiomatic expression as it refers to the literal ringing of a bell after returning to the office from a day in the field. All reps who earned the minimum $100 profit ring a large bell signifying their results and are congratulated by their fellow sales reps in a raucous, high-energy ceremony.
Rep 1: How did you do today?

Rep 2: I did alright, I closed $129 in profit!

Rep 1: Hell yeah, go on ring the bell man!

*High fives ensue*
