When someone adopts a characteristic or phrase from another person when they don't usually say that phrase/word or have that characteristic. It generally happens on accident but sometimes is done when copying another.

Friend 1: "I'll talk to you later bro"
Friend 2: "Alright bro"

Friend 2: "Sorry bro.."
