wet backer

A racial term for someone who swims in order to get to another country. Most commonly used towards Mexicans who swim to America, but may also refer to the Vietnamese who swim to Hong Kong during the Vietnam War to escape from Ho Chi Minh.

The wet backer has some crazy arms from all that swimming.

The Guatemalans are the Mexicans” wetbacks, it is an example of trickle-down wetbackery.
