a person who wants to be skinny, often by anorexia, and sometimes skips meals like one, but doesn't have the discipline of a true anorexic.

OMG. She says she wants to be skinny, but she acts like a wannanorexic.

Someone who wishes or pretends they have an eating dissorder or deliberatley goes out of their way to make it look like the have anorexia.

"she apprently has an eating dissorder."

Wannarexic

a person who uses anorexic or bulimic tactics to lose weight but does not actually have an eating disorder; they simply want to lose weight so they use eating disorder-related strategies to lose the amount of weight that they want to

Dana wants to lose five pounds so she's decided be wannarexic and not to eat and work out for five hours a day for seven days.

wannarexica 

Someone who feels that anorexia or bulimia, even sometimes ednos, is glamorous and would be desirable. They try to make themselves have an eating disorder, by starving and making themselves throw up, and ultimately failing. These wannarexics normally only last a few weeks at most with their behaviors.
It is also used by many anorexics, bulimics and people with ednos because they feel they are not pleasing Ana, Mia and Essie. They feel too fat to have an eating disorder.

A lot of wannarexic boys and girls showed up on myproana after the movie Starving In Suburbia was released onto youtube. There were forums posted everyday that were titled, "New ana! Comment your tips!" and all their users were dealing with butterfly, which is part of the main character's username to her proana site. They were all very young, but JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE IS YOUNG does not mean THEY DO NOT HAVE AN EATING DISORDER.

Wannarexica is basically when a young girl or boy with low self esteem find proana sites and watch eating disorder awareness movies and songs and want to be thin. It's also when a person who is diagnosed with the eating disorder feels nobody notices because they are 'too fat'.

When someone has literal wannarexica just wants an ed because it seems glamorous and they wanna be thin.
