verbal cord

Not to be confused with the vocal cord, it is the language processor located between the throat and the tongue, which is used as a skipping rope by its player: some microscopic being.

Each successful jump over the instrument produces an faultlessly pronounced word that is then exteriorized out of the mouth by the tongue. But if the cord is tripped on one or multiple times and tangled up, it results in stutters, thus incomplete words.
Porky Pig clearly has a will to live. Can't say the same for his verbal cord as it tied itself into a noose.
