When you look back on the messages of a group chat and see that the other members were involved in a lengthy discourse about the most ridiculous, disturbing, idiotic, strange, unethical or controversial topics. Despite this extreme discussion, your evaluation of those people is not changed because you either assume they are not serious or you believe they are of the nature of expressing opinions or saying things that are ridiculous, disturbing, idiotic, etc.

Person 2: "Does it change how you view them?"
Person 1: "No, not really"
Person 2: "That is what is often refered to as the WARP effect"
