Saying or doing anything knowing it will make someone (usually a woman or a male wuss) cry immediately. This usually occurs in public and at inappropriate times.

This meeting is sure to be a tearjerkher.

Tearjerker

Tearjerker is a song off of the Red Hot Chili Peppers record ‘One Hot Minute’. The song is about fellow musician Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana. In the song, Anthony Kiedis is heard singing about Cobain’s “pale blue eyes” and “whiskers”. Kiedis also references the night that he met Cobain, whom was backstage wearing a dress (typical).

Krist: Hmm… maybe Tearjerker because it’s about Kurt.
