An attempt by a person or organization to convince people to reduce the amount of information they display on their online profiles.

I can't believe CNN did an expose on people's privacy being compromised online, now I can't find half my Facebook friends' cell numbers or addresses! CNN is totally stalk blocking me!

Making your social media accounts private so prospective dates can't creep on you, because hello – no one likes a creeper!

So we haven't even met in person but he already "liked" a bunch of photos deep on my Instagram, and that's when I knew I had to start stalk-blocking.

I thought he was interested in me, but then he stalk n blocked me the next day.
