spirit quest

A spirit quest is similar to a vision quest except that it has nothing to do with Native Americans. A spirit quest does not require fasting, on the contrary, each member of the group must bring food for the Grande Feast. The group must first wander into nature and pick a "place of power". Here they will sit and discuss their thoughts on God, smoke a blunt...or 2...and eat. There is also a Dragon mask involed somehow....it's purposes are uniquely determined by each individual group. Details of the spirit quest are to be kept secret, never to be spoken of again.
I'm going on a spirit quest with some friends, I'll be back by 7.

Spirit Quest Sunday

In true biblical fashion, Spirit Quest Sunday much akin to the Sabbath is sacred. Simply put, you get as fucked off your saddle with as many psychedelics as possible on a Sunday just as Jesus intended.
What day is it? Spirit quest Sunday baby.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
