solune 

A solune is a symbol used in the book series, Zero Angel's War of the Ages, representing the eternal battle between the two chief deities of the humes: the Mother and the Nemesis.

It takes the form of an eight-pointed star. In its most common coloring, half of the center of the star is black and the other half is white, while points on the white side are black and points on the black side are white. A solid white solune represents the Mother's victory over the Nemesis, while a solid black solune represents the converse.

Val's Lifequest garb had a solune displayed prominently on the chest.

The solid white solune was a gift from their dead mother, and was believed to be a good luck charm.

solunavax

(Noun) A blockchain protocol that is majority owned and centrally administered by a group of venture capitalists that are usually US and often San Francisco Bay Area based.

Instead of the usual properties of a cryptocurrency exhibited by the likes of for instance Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cardano - decentralised, secure, scalable - these blockchain protocols are typically neither secure nor decentralised, or even generally stable, while potentially achieving scaling that comes close to Microsoft SQL Server 2019.

Certain versions of solunavax come with a VC on/off switch out of the box, others have a complete Ponzi scheme baked in. All of them come with highly toxic but generally fluid communities that are financially incentivised to lash out at everything that’s not a solunavax

Solyneth 

A standing wave.

Occasionally known as Solynomial, another form of polynomials, also confused with solenoids in physics. It is a function of secsquare.

During a physics lesson, a teacher (arbitrarily named Ms Holloway) asks her class to draw solyneths, labelling axes clearly, which shouldn't be hard because solyneth is such a fine example of standing waves.

Solene

Solene is a French female name of Latin origin, derived from the word “Sollemnis” meaning solemn. Consequently, a Solene is typically a quiet, sometimes shy, person with a thoughtful outlook which sometimes disguises her more adventurous inclinations and affable sense of humour. Her name also derives from the Latin words “Sol” meaning sun which describes her lovable personality, bringing warmth and brightness with her sunny disposition; as well as “Sollus” meaning whole which attributes her caring nature as well as her predisposition for organisation, but ultimately attests to the completeness one feels when she is a part of your life.
