Generally used in text messages or IM's where the recipient can obviously see you are not physically/vocally laughing; therefore, slmao had to be implemented.

FDS SIMƃO

What you say in Portuguese when someone does shit. If translated literally it means something like "Fuck you Simon".
Simão was a famous Portuguese student of the renowned NOVA University of Lisbon that nobody ever understood how he managed to enter to such a reputed institution.

In the meanwhile, the expression has spread nationally and is now used in a wide range of contexts.

Said in lack of any other appropriate word; is appropriate in all situations.
Can sometimes be used as a simile replacement for awesome or epic.
Most commonly used as a standalone word.
Is also very similar to meow in that it can be used to end awkward silences or even just begin a conversation.
Mostly it is and should be used in alternation with meh.

RULES OF USAGE:
*Must always be in capital letters.

*Is exempt from any grammatical rules and so can therefore be used with multiple exclamation marks or question marks.
*Does not make the user awesome and they should neither be treated as though they are nor be expected to become awesome from using it.
*Should NEVER be used in any sentence with Linkin Park in it.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
