sleep flux

The point in time when you'd usually be sleeping, but the computer moniter is keeping you awake. Usually you are really tired, but you are too lazy to turn off the computer; maybe you're myspacing, maybe you're gaming, or maybe you're just chatting. The boredom is so great, that you think the prospect of sleeping is too boring to try. You'd rather keep listening to music on iTunes late into the morning.

Guy A "Oh dude, i got like no sleep last night."

D-Bag Friend "Why dude, what the fuck is wrong with you, are you on crack or something?"

Guy A "No you sack of shit, I had intense sleep flux"

Sleepflixing

Watching Netflix while half asleep or trying to sleep. Often done over vacations or holidays when you're too tired to stay fully awake but too awake to fall asleep, resulting in watching several hours of mindless Netflix instead of resting. Usually, the sleepflixer absorbs very lite, as their sleep deprived state does not allow them to easily follow the plot. Sometimes done out of boredom and sometimes the result of frustration with being unable to sleep.

Thomas: Dude, I didn't sleep at all last night. I watched eleven episodes of Doctor Who!
Mickey: Lame, man. We're they at least good episode:?
Thomas: I can't remember, I was sleepflixing. Now I have to rewatch a whole season.
