The act of pulling or grabbing ("tugging") on one's penis, through clothing, when excited.

Side tugging is not necessarily an expression of sexual arousal (at least, explicitly).

Example 1: Shane is side tugging; he must have thought up a new moneymaking scheme.

Example 2: Whenever this girl text messages me, I start side tugging. Sometimes I even do it during class!
