Secondary to working long periods in a healthcare setting resulting in sexual deprivation and a distortion of one's standards, scrub goggles is a phenomenon in which physically unattractive males wearing scrubs start to appear beautiful.

I must have had scrub goggles on, 'cause Dr. Smith did not look good when we went out to dinner.
