Combining "sanitize" with "sabotage", the word applies to a situation where someone (e.g. parent, significant other) cleans or organizes your stuff in your absence.
I normally lead a comfortably messy lifestyly, but when I got back from a weekend away, I found that my OCD roommate had totally sanitaged the apartment.

Get the SANITÄTER mug.German for "paramedic". Definitely did NOT become common with BFV; I don't know how you can even think that. If its usage in BFV was "common", then it was likely no more common than its usage in, I don't know, WORLD WAR TWO or something, not to mention the fact that it was used exactly one decade prior to BFV in Call of Duty: World at War in 2008. And I am sure it has been used in many other WWII games prior to BFV as well.
