The type of person that behaves as though promotion is in the pipeline, and they will soon be elevated to their rightful place above the coarse, plebeian landscape that now surrounds them. Commonly attired in a suit (even if not required to be), and never failing to end emails with an expression such as 'kind regards'. Tends to distance him/herself from peers, is overly friendly to higher-ranking staff/ dismissive of lower-ranking staff, and takes pride in unnecessary displays of formality.
Seinfeld's George Costanza, while working for the New York Yankees, was prissisnivellatoresque in some ways, though on the whole far too lovable to be defined as a true prissisnivellator.
