(Verb:Polyhugamy) A person who has hugs with different partners for extended periods of time. A minimum 20 second hug releases hormones with many benefits. It could lead to becoming polycuddlemous/polysnugglemous, a more intimate experience with various partners. This may include turn lead to being polyamorous.

The world would benefit from everyone being more polyhugamous.

polygamous 

Polygamy is a marriage or relationship which includes more than two partners. When a man is married to more than one wife at a time, the relationship is called polygyny; and when a woman is married to more than one husband at a time, it is called polyandry. If a marriage includes multiple husbands and wives, it can be called group or conjoint marriage. All parties involved in these type of relationships are polygamous

Peter, Paul and Mary are in a healthy and loving polygamous relationship with each other.

Being in a committed relationship with more than one partner. Not fucking others who aren’t your official others.

My wife and I are monogamous, but our three friends are polynogamous.
