Piggy Price

A playful term used to describe an unnecessarily high cost—whether literal, emotional, or effort-based—paid for something that should have been simple or inexpensive. Often used humorously to highlight when someone feels they “paid too much” in time, drama, or energy for a small outcome.
We only walked a mile, but the blisters I got were such a Piggy Price to pay.
