Padjo

An alternative name for a wood pigeon. Used to show disgust or hatred towards these pigeons, especially when they sit there staring at you.

Applies to pigeons exhibiting lots of crand.

1. Oh for piss' sake, a stupid Padjo shat on my car!

2. I wish that bloody Padjo would stop staring at me, it's freaking me out.

A person who uses their tablet to take pictures instead of using their phone or camera.

Nick: Ugh, I can't see the stage at all because of all these idiots blocking my view with their tablets.

Padron e sotta

"Padron e sotta"(Master and servant) is a southern italian, card based, drinking game. In every game the one who gets the higher score is the Padron, the second higher score is the Sotta.

The Padron has to make invitation and the Sotta has to accept or decline, making some people drink and other no, forming teams.

Padron - "A glass of beer to Aldo and two to Stefano"
Sotta - "No"
Padron - "A glass to you and one to Aldo"
Sotta - "Yes"

The game ends when everyone has drank at least a glass (usually of beer, wine in the old days), or when

the number of rounds prearranged is reached. A round ends when everyone has been the dealer.

The person who hasn't drank for the whole game is called "Urm" and will be mocked for the rest of the evening. (for the rest of his life if the game was really competitive)

Pilot slang. Being unable to take one's eyes off a target(enemy aircraft, escort package or some fine lady in a bar) for fear one will not be able to find it again.

Padfoot

The nickname given to Sirius Black by his friends while in animagus form. Sirius took the form of a large black dog and was given the nickname "Padfoot" by his friends because of the dog's padded feet.
Sirius fought in the first Wizarding War in the Order of the Phoenix alongside his friends, but was later blamed for the death of James and Lily Potter and sent to Azkaban, to which he later escaped 12 years later.
Black dies by the hand of his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange and is pushed into the Veil by one of her curses.

Some other nicknames that Sirius has are: Black, Snuffles (by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger)
