okiya 

A lodging house specifically for geisha. The inhabitants may include: Okasan (Mother, owner, proprietress), Geiko, Maiko, Shikomi, and Maids and/or Cook. Contrary to popular belief, men (except priests and dressers) are not allowed inside the okiya. Sexual relations in an okiya is frowned upon and rare.

When the two maiko finished class, they returned home to the okiya.

Okiya 

Okiya is a person of a sweet amazing kinda heart. Full of joking and open to mostly everyone that is nice or special to them in a way because they may have experienced alot in they past so they based they future on better loving and caring friendships or relationships to give someone somethings they never got. They are also a very very quiet person on the inside and hardly ever open up about they feeling and may take may Years to. Okiya is the best person to love because people like them are will to love you more than you can give.

Okiya as in name a person or pet named after the temple in Japan having meaning to mainly named for females because the temple was made for females.

Okia 

Okia is a stunning person. Is quiet at first but as they get comfortable with you you won’t be able to shut them up! Has a hard time trusting people. Tends to know everyone’s secrets. Always doubts themselves. You might never see them cry but behind closed doors they are a different person. Is funny and always seems to laugh at the worst moment. Will be a friend for life if you come across them. (Holds a grudge for a very long time)

Okinawa

An island south of Japan and east of China filled with centenarian elders and American military bases. The people living there are known as the Okinawans, who are culturally distinct from the Japanese. They are also the same people who gave us Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid, so thank them for that I guess?

It’s often seen as the Asian version of Hawaii, but don’t be fooled because Okinawans drive on the left whereas Hawaii people drive on the right.

Also, did you know that the original name for Okinawa is “Uchinaa”? I hope you didn’t because that’s the most random fact ever and knowing it reveals that you either have no life or you’re super bored from being in quarantine.
