Nagareculpist

A Nagareculpist is a person who habitually refuses to accept accountability or responsibility for their mistakes or wrongdoings, actively denying any blame despite clear evidence to the contrary. Often, they will instead play victim, use someone as a scapegoat, or simply deny any wrongdoing.

Formal: “Despite overwhelming evidence, he remains a nagareculpist, refusing to acknowledge his role in the project’s failure.”
Formal: “Therapists often encounter nagareculpists who struggle to take responsibility for their actions.”
