play on the word meltdown and the name of actor Mel Gibson who has had a history of anger issues.

If my wife asks me to take the trash out one more time, i think I'm going to have a mel-down.

Guy Two - " Can't miss it but I was thinking, Jessie Jackson wasn't meldowned like this when he made that hymie town comment."
