Manriki Gusari

The Manriki Gusari was a chain usually about 3 feet long, and weighted at both ends. It was developed as a self-defence weapon but was also a wicked offensive weapon in the hands of a ninja. It was small and easily concealed in the palm of the ninja's hand, or in a sash.

While holding one end of the chain, the Manriki Gusari could be swung around and used as a whip. The weighted end could cause a great deal of damage.

Fred the Manikin

A character in the movie I Am Legend. Fred is a manikin set up by Robert Neville (Will Smith) to act as a human stand-in as he is the last man on earth.

A following has been following Fred as people have noticed a slight head-movement from the plastic manikin, along with his torso suddenly and subtley rising after he was shot by Robert.

Most say the head movement was to illustrate Robert Neville's going insane as something that hasn't moved in three years was suddenly someplace else. And the rising torso is that it was shot down into a puddle, making it bob.

Dude, I think there's a Fred the Manikin around, I think I just saw something move!

Manikin

A Better way (or codename) to say Mexican. When around a lot of Mexicans and you are talkin shit or just plain talkin about them, you use the word Manikin instead of Mexican. Pronounced like the word "Mannequin" (man-i-kin). It can also be used in plural form ex. Manikins.

Damn Look at all these Manikins on the Venice Metro Bus.

Wow!!! look at all those kids! Whose are those? I Think they're the black guy's. No!! They all belong to the Manikin in the Alligator tank top with a matching Ostrich skin Belt.

This is a Chinese restaurant right? If the doorman is Chinese, the servers are Chinese, even the guy who works the bathroom is Chinese, then why are there all these Manikins cooking in the kitchen.

I've been out of town for 3 months and WOW !! What a great job the Manikins did on the garden. They really know how to cut grass.
