a lovingship is where two people love each other but are not necessarily in love or in a relationship. But they're closer than friends cause they can understand each other to an extent or even completely.
People in a lovingship can have sex without it being wrong or the girl being classed as a whore.

People in a lovingship also have a strong shared love for something.
(E.g reading, writing or blazing up)

They tend to be happy when together.

'Me and Dwight aren't together, we're in a lovingship.'

Sarah: 'You guys are so cute you should go out!'
Me: 'no that might ruin things, I think we'll get into a lovingship instead.'

longship 

A relationship between two people for years. There is no true friendship formed. There is only memories and evidence that can used against you if you choose to disassociate yourself from that person, hence the reason you've hung around for such a long time.

I've been in this longship for way too long.
