Whilst Michael's cheerful, unsolicited pronouncement to the group of unsuspecting classmates before him that '(hey, listen everyone!) I'm a morophile- someone who seeks the company of stupid
people!' was not, in a general sense, inaccurate in any
way, it did have the irksome quality of somehow implying that the utterer himself wasn't intellectually deficient, and that the
people whose company he was in (whether they wished it or not) somehow were. So it was that several unamused faces turned dispassionately to regard the individual that had obliviously thought to pronounce this to them
